ABOUT ME

I grew up in Exeter and spent much of my childhood in and on the water.  As a consequence of living on the estuary and my love of the water, much of my artwork aims to evoke the essence of tranquility that the river Exe and surrounding countryside emanate.

My artistic skills have developed through photography, design and through my career as an architect, where sketching and drawing are always my preferred means of exploring design ideas.  As an architect I have been fortunate to have been nominated for several prestigious awards at Hilton Barnfield Architects and my growing repertoire of artwork is emerging in the south west with a number of pieces in local galleries as well as completing bespoke commissions for clean line pen and watercolour pieces.

My portfolio consists of mainly pen and watercolour drawings, a number of ink and pencil sketches and more recently I have been experimenting with  single block reduction lino prints.
